The pellet machine uses the die roll extrusion principle, the agriculture residues biomass raw materials are processed into solid molding fuel, this will realize continuous and stable production of industrialization. The processing route uses one-time drying, secondary crushing, continuous feeding, and adjusted feeding mixed process combining, the particle shaping fuel rate of 98%, bulk density, and particle density are high.

I. Pretreatment system
Raw material crushing and screening
A double-shaft crusher is used to crush logs/wood blocks to a particle size of ≤30mm, and a magnetic separation device is equipped to remove metal impurities (iron removal efficiency ≥99%). Pre-dehydration treatment reduces the initial moisture content from 40%-60% to 20%-30%, improving drying efficiency.
Particle size classification
The vibration screener divides the sawdust into coarse material (≥5mm) and qualified material (≤5mm), and the coarse material returns to the crushing process for cyclic treatment37
II. Drying system
Core equipment selection
Drum dryer: drum inclination angle 1°-5°, speed 3-8rpm, built-in spiral lifting plate to achieve multi-stage temperature control (80-400℃ gradient adjustment)
Heat source configuration
Biomass burner (fuel cost is 30%-40% lower) or gas boiler (thermal efficiency ≥85%). Equipped with waste heat recovery system to reduce energy consumption by 25%-35%.
III. Pellet forming system
Pellet machine configuration
Ring die pellet machine: suitable for hardwood raw materials, mold compression ratio selection (pine 1:6, miscellaneous wood 1:8)
Flat die pellet machine: suitable for small and medium production capacity (1-5t/h), maintenance cost is 30% lower
Process parameter control
Feed particle size ≤3 mm, moisture content 10%-15%. The mold temperature is maintained at 60-80℃ to prevent wood tar from sticking.
IV. Post-processing system
Cooling and shaping
The counter-current cooling tower cools down to below 40℃, the cooling time is 15-20 minutes, and the particle hardness is increased to ≥97.5%
Screening and packaging
The vibration screening machine removes powder and broken particles, and the purity of the finished product is ≥98%. The fully automatic packaging machine supports 25kg/bag or ton bag specifications, and the packaging speed is 30-50 bags/hour.
