Suitable for a variety of different types of raw materials, crushing and pressing them into rod-like biomass pellets or briquettes, which can be used as a new energy for power plant power generation, heating, barbecue, boiler fuel, etc., or processing forage such as alfalfa, grass, straw to make animal feeds.
When powder materials with different granularities are imported into the compression zone between the rotating die and the driven rotating roller through the internal feeding device, the materials get a certain loose degree and pores of different sizes. Driven by rotational molding and extrusion, sliding and rolling happened between powder particles. The pore between powder particles decreases as the die and roller roll gradually. Meanwhile, the internal stress and material density increase, and the contact is transferred from point to surface between the powder materials. When the stress reaches a certain value, the density of the material approaches the expected value. High-density materials from the pre-compression zone enter the extrusion area. Shift from elastic deformation to plastic deformation results in the presence of flow characteristics in materials, which begin to enter the die hole. Because the press between powder particles belongs to the mechanical interlocking, the contact area between powder particles increases. The property of material itself and generated bondability leads to that the materials in the die hole, at a certain pressure, get the expected density and intensity, and are pushed out of the die hole. The powder palletization process is complete when the extruded materials are cut to the required length of particles.
