The single-mold wood pallet machine is a special hydraulic forming equipment, which is mainly used to press wood or plant fiber raw materials into a pallet product with an integral structure at one time through a high-temperature and high-pressure process. The single-mold wood pallet machine belongs to the category of compression molding machines, and the hydraulic system drives the mold to complete the compaction and curing of the raw materials. The working pressure range is 800-2000 tons (customized according to the specifications of the pallet). It is a one-time pallet forming machine with renewable fibers such as sawdust, wood shavings, plant straw (such as rice straw, sugarcane bagasse) as the main material, and a small amount of thermosetting resin can be mixed to enhance the performance.
The pallet panel and the support feet (such as the 9-foot structure) are simultaneously hot-pressed in the mold without additional assembly. Use heat transfer oil or steam to heat the mold to 150-220℃, and use the hydraulic system to apply high pressure (1000-1600 tons) to melt and combine the fiber and adhesive to form a dense structure.
The finished product is an integral pallet, which has the characteristics of high strength, corrosion resistance, and insect resistance, and can replace the traditional spliced solid wood pallet. Applicable to warehousing and logistics scenarios, compatible with various operation modes such as shelf stacking and forklift handling
- Waste wood, scrap of wood, sawdust, wood shavings, wood chips, raw wood, burned forest, logs, wood board, branches, timber, wood flakes, waste pallets, and so on.
- Containing rich fiber can also be used to produce the pallets, such as straw, waste kraft paper, bamboo, palm trees, coconut, softwood, wheat straw, bagasse, miscanthus, and so on.
1. Raw material pretreatment
Crushing and screening: Raw materials such as wood chips and waste wood are first processed by chippers and crushers into uniform particles with a particle size of ≤10mm, and impurities are removed by vibrating screens.
Drying and humidity control: The raw materials are dried at high temperature (150-180℃) to control the moisture content below 3% to avoid bubbles or cracks during the subsequent hot pressing process.
Mixed adhesive: After drying, the raw materials are mixed with thermosetting resins (such as phenolic resins) in proportion and evenly dispersed by a glue mixer.
2. Hot pressing molding
Mold filling: The mixed material is automatically transported to the single-mode mold according to the set amount to ensure uniform filling and consistent compaction density.
High temperature and high-pressure curing: The hydraulic press applies 1000-1600 tons of pressure (pressure range 98-1400psi), and the mold is heated to 150-220℃ to melt and combine the wood fiber and the adhesive under high temperature and high pressure. The pressure holding time is about 90 seconds to ensure that the wood fiber is fully cured to form a dense structure.
3. Demolding and post-processing
Quick demoulding: The molded tray is automatically separated from the mold by the hydraulic press ejection device, reducing manual intervention.
Surface finishing: Grind the edges and corners of the tray to remove burrs and ensure dimensional accuracy.
