The okara flash dryer purchased by Henan customers from our company has been installed and put into production. In this production line, bean dregs will first pass through a belt dehydrator for extrusion dehydration, and then enter a flash dryer for drying. The bean dregs particles from the flash dryer are uniform and good in appearance, and the flash dryer has a very fast drying speed, which supports continuous feeding and production. The flash dryer is widely used in the dispersion and drying of granular, powdery, paste-like and filter cake-like false agglomerates in the chemical, pharmaceutical, building materials, food, feed, and other industries. The flash dryer has the advantages of the small occupied area, low energy consumption, high thermal efficiency, and continuous mass production.
The raw materials of the flash dryer cover multiple industries, and the specific classification is as follows:
1. Raw materials of the chemical industry
Inorganic materials: Boric acid, calcium carbonate, hydroxide, copper sulfate, iron oxide, barium carbonate, synthetic cryolite, etc.
Organic materials: Pesticides (atrazine), lauric acid, benzoic acid, benzoic acid, cellulose acetate, etc.
Dyes and pigments Materials: Anthraquinone, black iron oxide, indigo pigment, zinc sulfide and azo dye intermediates

Detailed introduction to the working process of the flash dryer
I. Pretreatment and start-up preparation
--Equipment inspection
Check the status of key components such as the fan, agitator, and air inlet slot of the mixing chamber to ensure that there is no blockage by debris. Clean the dry ring gap and the residue inside the main engine to prevent pollution or operation failure.
--Material preparation
Remove metal impurities from the raw materials. Materials with a moisture content of ＞15% need to be pre-dried to ≤10%46. Block materials need to be pre-cut to a size suitable for feeding (≤300mm).
--System start
Start the induced draft fan and blower in turn, and adjust the gas flow to keep the equipment in a slightly negative pressure state. Turn on the air compressor and control the compressed air pressure at 0.5-0.6MPa, and start the pulse backflush system.
II. Core drying process
--Crushing and mixing stage
The material enters the dryer through the spiral feeder, and the high-speed rotating agitator (2000- 3000 rpm) impacts and shears the block material to form micro-particles. Hot air (350-400℃) enters from the bottom inverted cone structure, forming a 60m/s high-speed airflow, which fully mixes with the material and improves the heat transfer efficiency.
--Dynamic drying stage
The material particles form a fluidized layer under the support of the hot air flow, and are quickly dehydrated by centrifugal force and air flow shearing. The particles that do not meet the standards are impacted by the centrifugal force and fall back to the bottom, and are crushed in a cycle until they meet the standards.
--Classification and separation
A circular baffle classifier is installed on the upper part of the drying main machine, and the particles with the standard size (usually ≤1mm) are discharged with the rising airflow. The large particles are intercepted and returned to the crushing area, forming a dynamic screening mechanism.
