The wood shaving and drying plant project signed by jiutian and Tunisia customer has been installation and commissioning and will be officially put into production. jiutian wood shaving machine, also known as shavings grinder, shaving processing equipment, shavings grinder. jiutian wood shaving machine is mainly used for batch production of thin flakes with uniform thickness. It is an automatic wood shaving machine. It includes a frame, a platform placed on the frame, and a knife holder fixed on the platform. The wood enters the machine from the feed port, slices through the blade inside the machine, and produces shavings. The shavings come out with uniform size and thickness, and wood There is no difference between the shavings that are hand-made in the factory.

This machine can process logs, branches (twigs) and board edges into shavings. The shavings produced are the same as those produced by furniture factories. The automatic feeding equipment greatly improves the production speed and saves time and manpower.

PROJECT PROCESS

Detailed introduction to the working process of the wood shaving machine

I. Raw material pretreatment

‌--Raw material screening and cutting‌

Remove metal impurities (wires, nails, etc.) from wood to prevent tool damage. Process logs, branches, and other raw materials, pre-cut to length ≤1400mm, diameter ≤ 350 mm. Control moisture content in the range of 5%-20%, if it is too high, pre-drying is required (such as bamboo needs ≤15%).

II. Core processing flow

--Cutting and crushing‌

The raw material enters the crushing chamber through the spiral feed port, and the knife shaft rotates at high speed (2600- 3000 rpm) for cutting. The staggered alloy blades complete the initial processing of wood shavings, and the thickness is adjusted by the blade spacing (0.1-3mm). Hammer and screen the mesh is used to achieve secondary crushing, and the particle size control is determined by the mesh aperture (1-8mm).

--Dynamic screening and circulation‌

The crushed material is classified by the vibrating screen, and the qualified shavings are transported to the collection system by wind. The oversized particles are intercepted by the annular baffle classifier and returned to the crushing chamber for circulation.

III. Post-processing process

--Drying and sorting‌

The wet shavings enter the drum dryer (hot air temperature 350-400℃), and the moisture content is reduced to ≤10%. The airflow classifier separates the surface/core shavings, and the unqualified materials enter the grinder for secondary processing.

--Finished product output‌

Fine shavings (≤1mm) are used as surface raw materials for particleboard. 3-8mm particles are used for fuel particle pressing or as feed raw materials.
