Detailed introduction to the process flow of crop straw dryer
1. Feeding and initial heating
--Wet material transportation
High-humidity straw (initial moisture content 60%-80%) enters the dryer feed port 36 via a belt conveyor or a spiral feeding device. The inclined feed pipe ensures that the material slides naturally to the front of the drum.
--Hot air injection
The heat source (coal/gas hot air furnace or steam boiler) produces a high-temperature medium (hot air or flue gas), which is fed into the drum 25 by a blower in a countercurrent or cocurrent manner. The initial hot air temperature is controlled at 150-200℃ to quickly start dehydration.
2. Dynamic drying in the drum
--Material dispersion and thermal contact
A large-angle guide plate is set on the inner wall of the drum to quickly guide the wet material to the lifting area. When the drum rotates, the lifting plate repeatedly throws the straw to form a "material curtain" to increase the contact area with the hot air.
--Multi-stage heat and mass transfer
Downstream stage: the material and the hot air flow in the same direction, and the surface moisture evaporates quickly after absorbing heat; Countercurrent stage: the material moves in the opposite direction, and the deep moisture is further removed by heat conduction; Final drying stage: the material forms a multi-circuit movement through the rectangular lifting plate at the end of the drum to ensure that the moisture content is reduced to 10%-15%.
3. Discharge and exhaust gas treatment
--Dry material collection
The dehydrated straw is discharged from the tail of the drum through a screw conveyor and directly enters the packaging or crushing process.
--Waste gas purification and waste heat recovery
The moist exhaust gas passes through the cyclone dust collector to filter large particles of dust. The remaining exhaust gas is discharged after secondary purification by the wet dust collector. Part of the hot air recovers waste heat through the heat exchanger, reducing energy consumption by 10%-15%.
4. Automatic control
Real-time monitoring: PLC system dynamically adjusts the drum speed (usually 1- 8rpm) and hot air temperature. Frequency control: Automatically matches the drying intensity according to the fluctuation of material moisture content to avoid over-drying or under-drying.
