Introduction

Wood chipper is a machine used for crushing wood, generally tree logs or branches, into smaller woodchips. There are two kinds of wood chipper according to structure design: disc-type wood chipper and drum-type wood chipper. Disc wood chipper is usually used in papermaking industries for it’s mainly process wood logs, while drum wood chipper can process both wood logs and agro stalks in various size.

As one of the main machines of the wood chip preparation section, it can also be used for a single machine for producing wood chips. This kind of machine is mainly used to chip wood logs, wood cutting remains (wood branching tree stumps, branches, etc.) and waste material from wood working industry (slab, lath, logs core and waste veneer, etc). Wood chip size is adjustable upon clients’ requirements. It can also cut non-wood materials, like sugar cane, bulrush,gross bamboo and so on. Working Principle
